How to Plan a Month of Social Media Content
5 min read · Westory Media
A calm, step-by-step way to map out a month so you are never scrambling for something to post.
Start with a purpose
Before deciding what to post, decide what your social media is for. It might be to bring in inquiries, keep customers informed, or simply stay visible in your community.
A single clear purpose makes every later choice easier.
Choose three or four themes
Themes keep a feed varied without feeling random. Examples include education, behind the scenes, community, and offers.
Assign each theme a rough share of the month so no single idea dominates.
Place posts on a calendar
Pick a posting rhythm you can realistically maintain, then fill in dates with themes first and details second.
Leave one or two open slots for timely news or spontaneous moments.
